Ani is a 3L at Loyola Law School. She received by Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Northridge in May of 2022. Throughout law school, she has gained diverse experience by externing for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in its Criminal and National Security Divisions, serving as a legal intern at Numedia Studios, and working as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Jonathan Harris.

This past summer she was a Summer Associate at Jackson Lewis, a Labor & Employment Defense firm. She currently serves as the Co-President of the Armenian Law Students Association and the Co-External Social Chair for the Day Student Bar Association. She also interns for the Armenian Women's Bar Association.

In her free time she enjoys traveling, working out, reading, baking, and trying new coffee shops. Her favorite place to be is at the beach!

Luis is a 3L at Loyola Law School with a strong interest in civil litigation and a passion for advocacy. His legal experience includes externing for a federal judge and currently serving as a Law Clerk at Carpenter & Zuckerman, a personal injury firm, where he contributes to litigation strategy and continues to strengthen his skills as an advocate.

At Loyola, Luis is part of the Immigrant Justice Clinic, where he has had the privilege of representing clients and speaking before the Mexican Senate.  What drives Luis most is helping others succeed—whether it’s supporting clients, colleagues, or his community.

Outside of law, he enjoys salsa and bachata dancing as well as playing basketball, both of which keep him active, balanced, and grounded.

Chris is a 3L concentrating in data privacy and cybersecurity at Loyola Law School. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2023, double majoring in philosophy and political science.

After his 1L, he worked as Professor Jeff Atik's research assistant and at the civil defense firm Morgenstern Law Group. Since completing his second year, Chris has worked at Insomniac Events and now also serves as a research assistant to Professor Simona Grossi.

He has a forthcoming publication on the privacy and constitutional issues raised by age-verification legislation, and serves as the president of the Technology Law Society.

Rachel is a 3L at Loyola Law School, and is currently acting as a certified law clerk in the DA's Preliminary Unit as part of the Poehls/Hobbs District Attorney Practicum. This past summer, she worked within the Board of Supervisors Division at the Los Angeles County Counsel’s Office, where she gained hands-on experience in local governance and public policy.

Rachel is particularly interested in advisory work that supports equitable, community-centered decision-making. She previously externed for Judge Tai and also serves as a mentor with the Women’s Law Association. In addition, she volunteers at the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law, where she assists clients navigating complex custody and domestic violence matters.

Originally from Calabasas, Rachel earned her B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Creative Writing from Seton Hall University in New Jersey. Outside of law school, she enjoys baking creative birthday cakes for friends, hiking with her dog Gigi, exploring local art exhibits, and practicing mindfulness.

Paul is a 3L at Loyola Law School with a focus on entertainment and intellectual property law.

He has worked at SAG-AFTRA in the General Counsel’s office and at entertainment litigation firms specializing in talent-side representation. At Loyola, he also serves as the VP of Communications for Entertainment & Sports Law Society. Beyond law, Paul is a screenwriter with several scripts in development. His experiences give him a unique perspective on both the business and creative sides of the industry.

Outside of school and work, Paul enjoys hanging out with friends, writing, and going to the movies (any other AMC A-List members?).

Sofia Tourgeman is a 3L at Loyola Law School with an interest in litigation. During her time in law school, she externed at the United States Attorney’s Office in the Criminal Division and in United States Bankruptcy Court for the Honorable Sandra R. Klein.

This past summer, she worked as a summer associate at Fisher Phillips, where she will return after graduation. At Loyola, she serves on the Scott Moot Court Honors Board, competed on a moot court team, and is a member of the Women’s Law Association.

In her free time, she enjoys exploring new coffee shops and spending time with friends.

Ethan Mikhael is a 3L at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he is pursuing a Corporate Law concentration.

He serves as Chief Research Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. Ethan has gained experience across corporate transactional as well as through Loyola’s Consumer Bankruptcy and Collaborative Family Law Clinics. He has also worked as a research assistant to Professor Amy Motomura, contributing to research on patent law and inventorship.

Outside of law school, he enjoys aviation, cars, and attempting to improve his golf game.
