The ELR editorial board seeks talented, dedicated, and hardworking staff members to contribute to the law review's continued success. Each year, ELR welcomes 25–30 staffers to join and assist in the publication of three issues.
Students interested in applying to ELR may do so by participating in the annual law review Write-On Competition. Competitors are called upon to write an essay (a “case comment") of no more than ten pages (including endnotes) based on a packet containing an assigned legal decision and supporting research materials, and to complete a citation exercise in which they correct a series of citations similar to those found in a published law review article containing various styling and formatting errors.
The Write-On Competition takes place at the end of spring semester once the final exam period comes to an end. For more information regarding the law review application process, please visit the official Write-On Competition webpage linked here.
